According to my experience, Web Project Management takes into account all the tasks that will be around and inside the website. From the brief definition to its creation and during all its life.

The goal of the website and most of the time the size of the company, will tell how big the project manager mission is.

The main point of a Website is its goal

The goal defines the target as well as the content.

From this point, people and services involved in the project can be defined also.

According to me, the web project manager mission is to lead and advise those people involved. It is also to provide a detailed schedule of tasks to be followed and go for it!

The team

Creating a website is putting into words and images part of the DNA of the company. Most of the time, the goal is to inform,  sell products or services through the web. In every case, the website must be appealing to its public.
